The recipe is for a starter sized serving, but you can double it to make it serve as a main course. It\u00b4s our friends at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SociedadeParede\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">restaurant Sociedade in<\/a> Parede, Lisbon that shares this recipe with us.<\/p>\n<p>Serves 4<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>200 g shredded, salted cod<a href=\"https:\/\/terradobacalhau.com\/en\/product\/cod-bag-shredded-codfish-1kg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">, Terra do Bacalhau<\/a><br \/>\n800 g pumpkin, cut into squares<br \/>\n1 carrot, cut into squares<br \/>\n1 potato, cut into squares<br \/>\n200 g leek, chopped<br \/>\n1 garlic clove<br \/>\n1 l water<br \/>\nOlive oil, extra virgin<br \/>\nSalt<br \/>\nPepper<br \/>\nLeaves of chicory, to decorate<br \/>\nPistachios, to decorate<\/p>\n<h2>How to<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/terradobacalhau.com\/en\/faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Soak the shredded cod according to instruction.<\/a> Simmer it for a couple of minutes in plain, boiling water until slightly cooked. Drain and reserve. Reserve some cooking water, too. When the salted cod has cooled a bit, use your fingers or a knife to make smaller pieces, if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Cook all the vegetables in boiling water until done. Drain.
